EUROPE PART 1

Feel like i should blog about my Europe trip although I know it's gonna a long post with a lot of photos and i'm kindaaaaaaaaa lazy

Ever since coming back from Europe and looking at the world talk about Europe it still feels so surreal that I've actually been there myself
I am a really bad at updating my life IT'S BEEN FREAKING 3 MONTHS..... omg ahaha oops but here it is, finally

WARNING: LENGTHY POST AHEAD, PROCEED AT OWN RISK

DAY 1 & 2: ROME, ITALY

Arrived in Vatican City which is like the old and ancient part of Rome

But to honest Italy is just full of churches because majority of the people there were Christians/Catholics

St Peter's Basilica, world's largest cathedral

The details of the cathedrals there though... and the interior design is exactly what you would expect when looking at it from the outside

Some random church + nice sky before heading for dinner

Literally had pizza almost every single day while I was in Italy

DAY 3: SIENA + FLORENCE

Siena was peaceful and quiet, unlike Rome

It's literally what I imagined Italy to be for someone who watches too much drama, with a lot of down slopes and uphills..... which also meant that we had to walk up roads and yeah.... it was a pretty tiring day.....

Lunch :') had the one with fries on it lolol

FLORENCE

It was a Saturday and the streets were just filled with people and more people

Apparently this is very common in Florence where people will just sit in the middle of nowhere and start drawing?

Pretty cool entrance to a museum......

DAY 4: PISA

I just.......had to.........try the mac there..... hehehehe

Then we headed to Barberino Factory Outlet and which means shopping!!!!!!!!

Just had to do a mirror selfie in Prada outlet!!!

My mum got so annoyed with how my dad takes selfies, with her head just hanging in the photo lol

She definitely looks much happier here hahaha

DAY 5: VENICE + SIRMIONE

Because Venice is actually is city surrounded by water, we had to take a water taxi there. Everyone got so excited when the tour guide stopped us in front of the pink boat, but we ended up taking the one on the left ahaha

It's pretty cool how Venice is a group of small islands separated by canals. E.g. Jurong and Clementi is separated by water and to get to the other side we either have to take a boat/walk over a bridge. And yes in case of emergency their ambulance, fire engine etc. comes by the water which is so cool!??!!

DAY 6: MILAN + CHAMONIX, SWITZERLAND

Gloomy gloomy day

And the world's first Prada store

And Mercedes-Benz nail polish actually exists......? And I just realised that it's only around SGD 23 omg???

Another random church which apparently 'glows' when sunlight shines on it but it was gloomy that day so :(

I wonder why my dad was so fascinated with the thought of birds on his hands but anyway the reason why there were so many birds around him was because there were people who threw food for birds around him. After you're done with your photo and the birds are done eating, these people will then attempt to ask you for money just for that. Another thing that they will do is literally ask you for your hand and put a friendship band around it, then ask you for money. Saw people who actually gave money to them with my own eyes and I was just like........??!?!
