RIP

Before I go on with any other posts, I just want to dedicate a post to Pudding.

While I was away on holidays for 2 weeks, Pudding passed away. The reason behind her death was  a viral infection. The pet shop that we put her at told us that she was not moving, eating, drinking and shitting. They took her to a vet, and prescribed medicine for her. She refused to take her medicine or any food even after force-feeding her. Pudding was 4 years old, hence considered as an senior rabbit. With her age and her not being sick before, her body did not react well to the virus. On the morning of 11th October, she passed away. 

She 'fell sick' around the 7th/8th day that we left her at the pet shop. The previous time that we left her at the pet shop for our Sydney trip was around 7 days. I believe that the reason why she refused to eat was because she was homesick. She probably thought we don't want her anymore. The thought of her feeling that way hurts me so bad, and I genuinely hoped that she was really sick, and not homesick. But the days and all matched, I can't help it.

She became so fat and everyone wanted to eat her up so badly

She was not the most affectionate rabbit because she hates being held, but she was definitely more than just a rabbit.

I'm sorry for not being there when you were sick.

I'm sorry for being away for so long.

I'll miss the sudden noises that you make in the middle of the night, especially the sound of you drinking water.

I'll miss you running after me trying to sneak into my room.

I'll miss the affection that you always give.

I'll miss having someone to talk to.

I'll miss cleaning your cage every night, and I'm sorry i found it a burden.

I miss you, and I'll always miss you.

Thank you for being my friend when nobody else was.

Thank you for being companion when nobody was at home.

Thank you for being family.

I hope you are having a good life up there.
